During fiscal years 2002 through 2008, the United States spent approximately $16.5 billion to train and equip the Afghan army and police forces in order to transfer responsibility for the security of Afghanistan from the international community to the Afghan government, according to a report obtained by the National Association of Chiefs of Police's Firearms Committee.

Political Leaders Ignore Illegal Alien Killers, Rapists and Assorted Thugs

Some may accuse me of gross hyperbole when I say that the government of Mexico uses the US as their penal system, but truth be told, tens of thousands of criminal aliens who come into the US are from Mexico and our federal and state prisons, and local jails warehouse these lawbreakers at the expense of US taxpayers. Not only that, but the US provides an abundance of crime victims for these killers, robbers, rapists and child molesters.

When the United States incarcerates criminal aliens -- noncitizens convicted of crimes while in this country legally or illegally -- in  federal and state prisons and local jails, the federal government bears much of the costs. It pays to incarcerate criminal aliens in federal prisons and reimburses state and local governments for a portion of their costs of incarcerating some, but not all, criminal aliens illegally in the country through the Department of Justice's State Criminal Alien Assistance Program managed by the Bureau of Justice Assistance.

Criminal Aliens Invading US While President Obama Fiddles

So the Mexican despots give the poor the "bum's rush" out of Mexico: "Here's your sombrero, here's a map, here's a bottle of water, now get out!"  And American political leaders such as President Barack Obama are too busy fiddling with the US economy to do anything to protect American citizens.

But there is another benefit to the exportation of Mexicans into the US -- Mexico saves money on its criminal justice system by exporting their criminal population to the United States. Thus, Mexico's crime problem becomes our crime problem; their prison problem becomes our prison problem... more:

Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Lamar Smith (R-Texas) today called on House Democrats to hold a hearing on the surge in drug-related violence on the U.S.-Mexico border.  The violence is attributed to Mexican drug cartels, fighting turf battles and competing to control the U.S. drug trade markets.

In a letter to Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers (D-Mich.), Smith cited reports from Wall Street Journal and USA Today that Mexican gangs are operating organized crime rings in at least 230 U.S. cities.

Liberal Politicians: Forget Controlling Guns; Let's Control the Ammo

Gun owners are alarmed over what they're witnessing in Washington, DC and state legislatures across the country. Realizing they could not succeed in disarming American citizens, Liberal organizations and their political representatives have decided to allow armed citizens to possess all the guns they wish. The hitch is, according to political strategist Mike Baker, the so-called gun-grabbers have decided to track ammunition for those guns by encoding the cartridges and maintaining a database.

Threat of Cyber Crime Continues to Increase

(This article is based on information provided by the FBI to the National Association of Chiefs of Police.)

The cyber threat confronting the United States is rapidly increasing as the number of actors with the tools and abilities to use computers against the United States or its interests is rising. The country’s vulnerability is escalating as the US economy and critical infrastructures become increasingly reliant on interdependent computer networks and the World Wide Web. Large scale computer attacks on US critical infrastructure and economy would have potentially devastating results.

Cyber threats fall into two distinct categories: threats affecting national security that emerged with Internet technology, such as cyber terrorism, foreign-based computer intrusions and cyber theft of sensitive data; and traditional criminal activity facilitated by computers and the Internet, such as theft of intellectual property, online sexual exploitation of children, and Internet fraud.
